XHTML for Web Design and Production Course Number: IMAG 894 Learn how to create standards-based XHTML web pages. Gain an understanding of XHTML, and through practical hands-on training, discover how to construct web pages that adhere to current web design principles and coding standards used in the industry. In today's job market, the ability to produce, edit and update source code without dependency on web page generating programs, is a basic critical expectation of any reliable, professional web designer. While visual page editors have become very popular in web design, knowing what's 'under the hood' is equally important and frees you from relying on specific software to do your work. Note: It is the student's responsibility to ensure they have successfully completed all prerequisites prior to registering for a course.
