Humber, in co-operation with the Institute of Housing Management, is pleased to offer the Certificate in Property Management.
For many years property managers were conscious of the requirement for a professional organization that would provide both recognition for their skills and responsibilities and educational opportunities for upgrading and advancement. In response to this need, the Institute of Housing Management was established.
The Property Management Certificate program will help participants involved in the management and operations of publicly and privately owned residential and institutional buildings. Receipt of the certificate qualifies the student to become a candidate of IHM, and is the first step toward achieving the designation AIHM (Associate of the Institute of Housing Management).
IHM offers a number of levels of membership. To inquire about and achieve the Associate of the Institute of Housing Management (A.I.H.M.) designation, please contact the Institute of Housing Management or refer to ihm-canada.com/MEMBERSHIP/membershipcategories.asp.
One of the objectives of the program is to accredit property management professionals. To graduate with a certificate, the student will be required to complete six courses, four compulsory and two electives.
